Just an update on Eva’s situation. From what we understand, her lawyer is still in talks with the lawyer of Stieg Larsson’s brother and father. This means talks are still on to try to solve this case. We wish Eva luck, and hope there will be a positive annoncement when the two lawyers present the result from their negotiations – in due time.

This time I´ll answer in English, since the Guestbook seems to have become international. Is not that great?
I must tell you all, that I read the Guestbook every day. The moral support is important to me.
Thank you so much for that. It means a lot.
Thank you also for your donations. I was able to pay a very large bill to my lawyer with that money.
The surprise I see in your notes about the outcome of – as our long-time friend Jim Wardally wrote – “a life of sharing, inspiring of each other and working together”, ends this way, is the very same surprise I have experienced for 4 years now. I could not understand it then, and I cannot understand it now. How is this possible?
Is everything in this world about money and prestige?
People show their true colours in times of need and crisis.
I therefore wish to thank Jan, Anne and Gry publicly. I visited them last week. Not only were they nice and with lots of humour, they also introduced me to the local beer from Aass Brewery, which was great.
These “three musketeers” have in their own spontaneous ways, written media history. Is it not marvellous to see how three ordinary people from Drammen, a small town in Norway, can make an impact in the world with modern media and a just cause?
I am now about to finish my book about what happened after Stieg died 9 November 2004. The whole sad story will be out there for everyone to read, and hopefully this will contribute to changing the law for men and women, who might face the same situation as me in the future.

Nu har det blivit alldeles ogörligt att svara alla på Gästboken personligen, så jag måste nöja mig med ett stort TACK för alla glada (och arga) tillrop.
För jag läser alla inlägg. Och jag är helt förbluffad av alltsammans som står där och allt som görs. Helt förbluffad.
Visst måste svenska lagen ändras.
Sedan mycket, mycket länge jämställs sambos med gifta i många amerikanska delstater. På lite olika villkor; antal år man bott ihop, att man har gemensam ekonomi, att folk kan intyga att man levt som gifta.
Så ska det se ut. Så kartan och terrängen stämmer överens. (Visste ni förresten, att det finns en enda situation, när kartan gäller över terrängen? Det är när landskapet är helt sönderbombat i krig. Aldrig annars. Och Sverige var inte sönderbombat sist jag tittade ut genom fönstret här hemma)
Så måste jag tacka de tre musketörerna i Drammen med omnejd. Först trodde jag de var galna. Sedan trodde jag på dem. Om än ordet anständighet verkar ha ramlat ur svenska språket, så lever det i alla fall på västra sidan om våra vackra fjäll.
Det finns alltså hopp.
